Fair Districts PA was founded in January 2016 by representatives from the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania, Common Cause, Committee of Seventy, Pennsylvania Council of Churches and others concerned about accountable government.

Fair Districts PA is a fiscal project of the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania and is a nonpartisan citizens group working to stop gerrymandering.  Pennsylvania needs a transparent and fair redistricting process.

Fixing legislative rules, creating fair districts and mapping out a fair redistricting process will help to re-establish an accountable state government that represents the people of Pennsylvania - not partisan politicians or outside interests.
